How do you refine and enhance your skill as a draughtsman. I started out with a fair amount of facility in drawing but it was only through three years of life drawing classes that I achieved a firm foundation to build toward the level I now exhibit. I continue to work on drawing the figure when given the opportunity. Any art school that does not place drawing the figure early and often in their curriculum is handicapping their students.
